Hello Disney People, And Any Creepers Reading This :)

Welcome to my blog.. once again. :p

So his blog i'm going to talk about something not so Disney related. :( Sorry, but first I have a question.

How would you all feel if your bosses tell you that you are no longer on pay rate or salary, that now you will be payed based on how the customers feels ???

Yeah I didn't think many of you would like that very much :) I mean come on the customer is "ALWAYS" right but deep down inside we know they can sometimes be pretty ignorant.

SENATE BILL 6: That is whereI am going with this. Since most of you are from other states, you might not recognize this bill that state legislator John Thrasher is trying to have placed on the florida education system.

This bill states that the teachers will no longer be payed based on a salery or union contracts, they will be based on their students test scores on a state test. The students in class grades won't even count. Not one bit. Already teachers are put under enough pressure and pay very little for the amount of this they do. Teachers ARE the foundation of this country. Without someone to teach you won't have anyone willing to learn.

I wrote this blog to inform you all a little about the bill, and if you can to call local orlando or some florida representative office and let them know you are against the bill. Already we had 58 lawyers warning the Tallahasee Education Building that they are  just waiting on the bill to pass in order to sue the florida senate.

Please remember that you might not be affected by this now because you don't live in Florida, but think about it it's politics we're talking about.. MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO :P

47 Days & Counting :)

Hey there my Disney friends :)
So as the title states there are only 47 days left till I check in May. 19th. YAY. So far nothing interesting has happened in Orlando or for the CP really except that my really good friend Alexis Moody got accepted the other day in that batch of 1 am emails, & Now we're roomies <3 YAY... There was auditions on the 31st of March here but I didn't go and I'm actually glad I didn't go. From what i've heard they were strict with weight and how people looked so yeah  :p. 
Anyways on another note, School is going pretty good. My Society chapter is having a demonstration against Human Trafficking. It's April 22nd So i'll post pictures on my facebook so you can all see what it's all about. We're going to have people taped with red ribbons and tape because of the human trafficking going on in the world. Other than that nothing else. lol Oh and as I said in my last blog, my school isn't giving me credit for the DCP so I have to take classes on the DCP. 2 classes in summer A, 2 Classes summer B, then 2 or 3 classes in the fall depending on my work schedule at the time, and what my school is offering :) Well guys that is just about everything for now :)

77 Days & Counting :)

Hey, everyone!!! So it's been almost a month since I wrote a blog, I'm sorry :( but yeah not much has happened. I did find my three roommates :) Shawn, Kristin, and Kimberly :) They are awesome :) we have so much in common, and I think we are going to great roommates. We have already started a bucket list of things to do while we are on the DCP! I also met a guy that is beyond anything going to be my best guy friend on the DCP. His names Tom, an he is so nice! We are definitely going to be good friends :)Any who, I have already registered for my summer classes through my college (for those who don't know if I don't take classes my school's honors program will drop me). I'm taking 2 classes in summer A and 2 in summer B. Educational Psychology, Adolescence Psychology, U.S. Government, and 20th century humanities :)So yeah guys, that's everything for today. I promise to write more often :)

Accepted :)

So I know this blog is very close to my last blog but.. hello I got ACCEPTED!! Woohooo! 

Yeah I got my acceptance email today at like 2:58pm (EST). Oh my gosh.. I was like oh its just another "Thanks for interviewing" email but no it was my acceptance. :) Then, I immediately read Quick Service Food & Beverage, so it wasn't exactly what I wanted but hey I'm in the Disney college program who cares?!? So after everything, was said and done and it finally sunk in, I called my entire family practically :) Then I pulled myself together and continued to accept my acceptance :) YAY. Okay so i went onto the link they provide, and follow the directions and figured everything out I needed. I payed my $100 fee and then they let me pick my arrival date.. (5/19/10). Now I'm on a countdown. but I do wish everyone that hasn't gotten in yet the best of luck :) And for those who have See ya real soon :)

Two Weeks Later :)

 So it's been two weeks since my Disney phone interview, and I'm more nervous now than I was during my interview. I called the recruiting people yesterday afternoon, and they told me that I should know by week four or late week three since I interviewed early on in the program. (January 21st.) I don't understand why they cant just tell you hey you in or hey sorry your not quite what we're looking for at this time.:( I just want to know already :) But I do understand that it takes time and liberation on all the applicant that apply.

 All this aside, this week was hectic in school. My math professor wasn't there on Tuesday so everyone ditched lab and today in class oh boy she let us have it. Next week I need to register for my summer classes which I am thinking of taking at least 1 or 2 of online while on the program, but I don't know yet. I'm still trying to convince my school to give me credit on classes I take through Disney because since they aren't on the same accreditation system it's complicated. So far it looks like a lost cause, but I am willing to fight for credit :) Since I'm only in my second semester in college I don't want to get left behind or slow my pace I got going on. Since the Disney program does take 2 semesters of my college, and maybe more if I extend :)

The Waiting Game :)

Hey everyone, as you may all know by now I've currently applied for the 2010 fall advantage Disney College Program. :) I did all my online stuff on the 20th of January, and had my phone interview on January 22nd. My recruiter told me from 4-6 weeks before I know if I've been approved. :( These couple of weeks are considered the waiting game. Okay so many of you might want to know why I'm interested in the Disney program... WELL... hello it's Disney who wouldn't be interested? I've always wanted to do the program since my older cousin did it when he was in college. But because of age and school status, I couldn't until after my first college semester. Bummer I know :( But now I'm here Ive applied and now just to wait :)I wish everyone out there luck, and remember when you wish upon a star your wish will come true :)
